Friends,

Where do I find the older images for the Budowo ewang. records (1838-1873)?

I checked the archive at http://metryki.genbaza.pl and found only images from 1874 to 1934.

My grandmother Charlotte Lietz Voll was born in Nippoglense. My DNA has matched some other Lietz descendants from Nippoglense.

Thanks,

Jim

Janus,

Yes, I did, but I'm not sure that I looked in the correct area.

Evangelisches Zentralarchiv Berlin:
Kreis Stolp (Provinz Pommern):
Dammen
Glowitz
Gro Dbsow
Gro Rakitt
Mickrow
Mtzenow
Stojentin

I don't find Budow or Budowo under Kreis Stolp.

Is there another place that has the Budowo records?

Thanks,

Jim

According to Database Pradziad there isn't any Budowo protestant metrics in any National Archives.

http://baza.archiwa.gov.pl/sezam/pradziad.php?l=en&miejs cowosc=budow&gmina=&wojewodztwo_id=0&wyznanie_id =0&rodzajaktu_id=0&search=search

Search familysearch.org also shows any result.

According to
http://en.provinz-pommern.de/
protestant parish in Budowo existed for a few centuries.

No metric for the hundreds of years, ....

Try to ask on archion.de forum.

Kind Regards
janus

Janus,

The NDAP Budowo results appear to be consistent with http://metryki.genbaza.pl images.

Where did PTG get indexes for Budow records prior to 1874?

Someone offered to make me a single photograph for 10 EU.

Thanks,

Jim
