My ancestors were from Gowidlino Poland, I was wondering if anybody knows any websites or has information on this region of Poland and if there are any websites that have pictures of Gowidlino.

Hello!
1.Before 1866 Gowidlino belonged to Parish Sierakowice , now it is a separate parish
2.Today Gowidlino belongs to Sierakowice commune, so if you would like today to take more information about Gowidlino (some photos etc.) please visit this site: http://www.sierakowice.pl
3.We haven't indexes from metrical books from Parish Gowidlino in this time,maybe we will start to do these indexes soon

Thanks for the information. In your post you wrote that some of the records from Gowidlino are not indexed. I have found lots of my ancestors in the database from Sierakowice parish up to 1884. My aunt about ten years ago hired someone from Poland and he came up with a few records back then that I have not been able to find in the database. They are transcribed and on top they say Smolnik and I notice that some of the witnesses were from resident of Smolnik. Is this a reason why I probably am not finding records in the database because they are located in another parish other than Sierakowice? If this is the case do you know what parish I might be able to start looking in that could possibly be on microfilm of these records.

After 1866 you should look for your ancestors from Smolnik in Parish Gowidlino.We will start to do theese indexes from Gowidlino parish soon or you can order microfilm from this site:

I went to family search, when I have ordered microfilm before to view they always had a number to order and whether it was baptism, marriage, death but this microfilm I didn't seen no order number and are all three records on this one microfilm?

Hello, If I were you I'll order the microfilm number 585996 because on Mormon's site is written that only this microflm include baptism, marriage,death from years (1866-1940)
