Hello!
My great great grandfather came from the area of Gdansk, born in 1863. He identified himself as German. Genetic testing confirms that he came from this area but was probably ethnically Polish(y-snp). I believe the name "Fuller" may have been adopted when he came to USA in 1880. I am looking for surnames that are similar phonetically or similar in appearance. "Fuller" does not appear to be a common name in Pomeranian region. Can someone suggest surnames that might be similar to "Fuller" that would be more common to the area?
