Hello all,
my name is Sandra, I live in Germany and I have been involved in family research for 16 years - sometimes more, sometimes less 
I am looking for information about my great-great-great-grandmother Josephine GOSCH. Unfortunately, I have no information about her self. On February 14, 1878, her daughter Maria Franzisca, catholic, was born illegitimate in Straszyn. Father unknown. Josephine Gosch also lived in Straszyn in 1878 and worked as a maid for the worker Carl Beld.
Unfortunately, there are no further data in her daughter's birth certificate and the archive in Gdansk has no information that could help me. They say that books from Straszyn have only been around since 1874. Now I have some hope to find help here. Because the language barrier alone makes me despair on some websites
